Hey Mikey, what’s goin’ on around the world this week?
Hey bud, gooda see you back, been travelin’?
Nope, the missus had a couple weeks off so, well, you know, I hadda do yard work and stuff. But she’s back punching the time clock this week so here I am. T’eck with the yard, eh? Then you were gone. Where you been?
Y’know bud, I took a quick trip to New Mexico then goofed off a few days. It’s good though to get back here to chat it up with you.
And I missed mosta the “news” heard round the world this last month. Travlin’. And y’know when you’re travlin’ you’re not keepin’ up. Especially to Albuquerque. Flew in, picked up a copy of The Albuquerque Journal, and right there on the front page was, “East Central Brothel Raked in 200K”.
I felt like I was home again.
But I did spot a couple things you might be interested in my friend.
Jimmy Carter said, get this, we have an illegitimate Prez. Ill-eee-jit-uh-mutt. It’s karma. The Prez was a big “birther” dude, and now folks are questioning him. Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Karma, Karmakameleon. And from a peanut farmer and jelly house builder no less.
J’catch that your Prez and mine stepped on North Korean soil? Pretty big deal, they say. I don’t get it, but I support it, anything to build relationships with others. Now, if he’d just step over to Pelosi’s office. Just a tiny toe across that border. Just a toe nail clipping. Justa bitta that keratin..justa scootch.
Mr. Prez “reach out and touch, somebody’s hand, make this world a better place, if you can….” (Thanks Diana…). Prez and Nancy sittin’ in a tree…
Now, that’d be something worth laying your eyes on.

Mikey’s Whaddayaknow’s:
If you park far enough away you can always find a space with plenty of shade.
If you are the first one up in the morning you don’t have to wait for the bathroom to open up.
Don’t overpack, but don’t forget the water.
If you get to the trailhead at 10:00 a.m., you will be scorched at 2:00. If you get there at 7:00 a.m. you will start cool and end nice and warm. If you get there at six (I hear) you’ll see the sun rise over the hills.
